Job Description
Junior Architects contribute to and support architectural projects. They help prepare designs, complete construction documents, write up building plans and assist in the presentation of materials.\r\n\r\nA Junior Architect works under the direct supervision of an Architect or Lead Designer with the goal of eventually moving up to that position with experience. The work is very collaborative in nature. They work for architecture and engineering companies and most of their work is done in an office setting, although they occasionally visit construction sites as well. The Bureau of Labor Statistics estimates that the field for Architects in general will grow roughly 7 percent over the next ten years, which is about average.\r\n\r\n
