MEGHALAYA BUILDING BYE-LAWS, 2021(RESUBELPARA)

    These byelaws may be called the Meghalaya Building Bye-Laws 2021.

    These bye-laws shall apply to all the Master Plan Areas, Municipal areas and Scheme Areas within the State.

    These bye-laws shall come into force with effect from the date of Notification in the Official Gazette. or land given in A1.4.1 to A1.4.4 below:-


    • When a building is newly erected, the bye-laws shall apply to the designs and construction of the building.

    • Where the whole or any part of the building is dismantled/repaired.

    • Where the whole or any part of the building is demolished.

    • Where the occupancy or use of the building is changed.
