    • These rules may be called the Chandigarh Building Rules (Urban) - 2017.
    • These rules shall come into force from the date of publication in the official gazette.
    • These shall be applicable to entire Union Territory of Chandigarh except Abadi Deh of Villages (Inhabitations within Lal Dora of villages).
