Job Description
Construction Revit technicians use computer modeling software to create technical drawings and three-dimensional building designs. They work closely with architects and engineers to develop plans for clients. Revit technicians need to have excellent artistic, technical, and computer skills.
Roles and Responsibilities
Prepare Revit models and drawings for a variety of projects, including new construction, renovations, and historic preservation
Work with project managers, architects, and engineers to ensure accuracy and completeness of the model
Understand and follow project-specific guidelines and standards
Generate 2D drawings from 3D models, and create 3D models from 2D drawings
Perform quality control checks on models and drawings
Coordinate with other disciplines, such as structural, mechanical, and electrical engineers
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Revit features and functionality
Troubleshoot technical issues as they arise
Provide training and support to less experienced colleagues
Stay abreast of new developments in BIM software
Adhere to company drafting standards
Comply with all safety regulations
Qualifications
B.Arch\ B.E (in Civil\ Mech\ Electrical
Eligibility Criteria
1-4 year of experience
