Job Description
The candidate in this position is responsible for piping engineering activities related to Thermal Power plant projects such as Pipe thickness calculation, line sizing, Preparation of PMS, Piping layout, Plot plan GA drawing of TG building, Power block, isometrics, pipe support drawings etc., In addition the candidate will be responsible for performing Piping stress analysis for Thermal Power plants using stress analysis software such as Caesar/Autopipe and shall be conversant in working with 3D software such as SP3D/E3D. Candidate shall be familiar with 3D review software such as Navisworks / Smart plant review. Providing pipe loading data to civil discipline, conversant with review of civil/structural/arch drawings from piping point of view, sorting out interdisciplinary issues etc.,
Roles and Responsibilities
Main responsibility is to work as specialist Piping engineer. Interaction with team members of other disciplines such as Process, Electrical, Civil, Instrumentation & control• Interaction with client and vendors• Prepare enquiry specification for Piping systems and perform bid evaluation of bids, vendor document review etc.,
Qualifications
B.E (PG Diploma is piping is an added qualification)
Eligibility Criteria
4-12 years of experience
