Job Description
A Mechanical Design Engineer, or Mechanical Designer, designs, develops, and tests new products, such as machinery, robotics, tools, and sensors. Their primary duties include creating new products and designs, revising existing products, and providing installation support by writing technical operation documentation.
Roles and Responsibilities
Analyzing and testing existing products to identify areas for improvement
Collaborating with other Engineers, Designers, and Project Managers
Writing detailed operational procedures
Creating budgets and timelines for each project
Ensuring all products meet safety regulations
Researching other products in the market to generate ideas for improvement
Developing and building prototypes to test their function
Conducting user research to identify consumer needs
Qualifications
Graduate/ Postgraduate in Mechanical/ Production Engineering
Eligibility Criteria
5-8 years of experience
