Job Description
An Electrical Engineer is a professional responsible for designing and developing electricity products, such as power systems or household appliances. An Electrical Engineer works with various fields, including electronics engineering transmission & distribution engineering, to develop these critical pieces necessary in our modern lives.
Roles and Responsibilities
1. Power and Lighting calculations
2. Overall Load calculations
3. Preparation of single line diagram
4. Short circuit and voltage drop calculations
5. Cable/Bus duct/conduit sizing
6. LV Design (CCTV, Smoke detector, fire alarm, PA, Window sensor)
7. Transformer sizing, site utility design
8. Prepare/model Electrical and Low Voltage layouts and plans.
9 Prepare / model Site Utility Layouts.
10. 3D Coordination and clash resolution with Civil / Mech / Plumbing and other disciplines.
11. Carry out other relevant duties as may be assigned from time to time by
supervisor/management.
12. Good Communication skills (both verbal and written), presentation skills, learning attitude,
good grasping power and a good team member.
13. Must have experience working on Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, BIM 360, Navisworks.
14. Should be able to read and understand Electrical Lighting, Small Power layouts and Low
voltage layouts.
15. Conversant with California Electric Code (CEC) and electrical symbols, wiring and switch
Qualifications
B.Tech/BE in Electrical Engineering
