Job Description
Working with clients to create detailed models based on their needs, including identifying project goals, objectives, and constraints\r\nDeveloping construction drawings and other design documents using computer-aided design (CAD) software\r\nCommunicating with architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure all parties are on the same page\r\nCoordinating with other members of the BIM team to ensure that all components of the model are up to date\r\nCreating 3D models of buildings using computer aided design (CAD) software such as AutoCAD or Revit\r\nCreating 2D drawings of building elements such as walls, columns, windows, doors, plumbing, electrical fixtures, etc. using architectural or engineering software packages\r\nCreating 3D models of building components such as structural supports, stairs, railings, and columns\r\nDeveloping drawings to show how construction will take place based on the design provided by architects or engineers\r\nUsing specialized computer applications to create virtual models of buildings and other structures\r\nindeed
Roles and Responsibilities
Responsible for the day-to day planning and implanting of projects\r\nManage and coordinate BIM standards development, implementation, and quality on all related files and models\r\nProvide CAD drafting/BIM modeling support\r\nDevelop BIM plans and understand the scope of work for subcontractors\r\nDemonstrate a strong understanding of constructions workflow processes and priorities\r\nAbility to manage multiple ongoing and complex projects while being able to successfully meet the requirements\r\nTroubleshoot any BIM related issues\r\nManage BIM project benchmarks to meet project deadlines\r\nContribute to the documentation, dissemination and monitoring of standards, best practices, and industry advancements\r\nPartner with the field and prefab teams to create plans for the implementation of model-based prefabrication\r\n\r\n
