Working with clients to create detailed models based on their needs, including identifying project goals, objectives, and constraints
Developing MEP drawings and other design documents using computer-aided design (CAD) software
Communicating with architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure all parties are on the same page
Coordinating with other members of the BIM team to ensure that all components of the model are up to date
Creating 3D models of MEP services using Autodesk Revit and resolving services clashes using Navis work
Exporting 2D drawings from Revit files and create families by parametric.
Developing drawings to show how MEP services will take place based on the design provided by architects or engineers.
Understand the project requirements and objectives and develop a BIM model accordingly
Coordinate with the construction team to ensure that the BIM model is accurate and up to date
Revise the BIM model as needed based on feedback from the design team and construction team
Generate reports and documentation as needed to support the project team
Attend meetings as needed to represent the BIM modeling team
