A BIM engineer is a specialized type of engineer who uses Building Information Modeling (BIM) software to design and plan buildings. They work with architects, contractors, and other professionals to ensure that all aspects of the building are properly planned out and coordinated.
Roles and Responsibilities
Preparation of Electrical Services shop drawings for Electrical. * Placing Lighting Fixtures, Power Sockets, DB's, SMDB's and Providing Supports to all the services. * Creating Shared Parameters, Project Parameters and Filters. * Coordination of MEP services by considering all the project Standards. * Clash checking with the help of Revit and Navisworks. * Preparation of Cable tray schedules and voltage drop calculation. * Preparation of Schedules to Provide quantity of Material to be used
