Assistant refers to a person who helps someone. It is used for a helper or aide. So a deputy manager is a person who deputizes for the general manager and the assistant manager assists the general manager. But many times both the terms are used to refer to the same position.
Roles and Responsibilities
Indirect Procurement (AMC/ Spares & Capex related)
Driving adherence to practices for Budget planning in accordance to ZBB philosophy, spend analysis, and management reporting
Project management activities, for setting up testing and evaluation facilities
Qualifications
B.E./B.TECH. (MECH/ELECTRICAL)
